A special mixed media collage on canvas dedicated to my Mom! In addition to the “Old Fashioned Potpourri” recipe, I’ve included some pressed leaves and flowers that my mom had pressed. I tried to make it look old and antique, while adding lots of bright colors. It’s hard to see, but I added some thread to symbolize the “common threads” or the intertwined interests that we share.

My artwork is a reflection of my emotions that I create through intuitive abstract paintings and mixed media art. I am interested in color and how it affects our moods and feelings, and I love adding texture as an extra for the senses.
